Art for Peace Exhibition
With Artist and Interart Blessing Toast
Report by Hubert Arnoldi, UPF Stuttgart, Germany
40 International works of art of various styles were exhibited in UPF Stuttgart premises on Sunday the 21st of October, 2018. The large hall was beautifully decorated with autumn flowers, leaves and shrubs of all kinds. All age groups and many nations were represented.
Pictures, sculptures and handicrafts as well as watercolors, oil paintings, collages and calligraphies were among the exhibits. Some artists were present in person, such as Professor Klaus Bushoff (INTERART Stuttgart) and Mrs. Israela Hägele (project "Clickisi," art and photography in Filderstadt) with their families and children. They also gave short speeches on the theme of the exhibition and their projects.
Hubert Arnoldi, UPF representative in Stuttgart, moderated the afternoon. He greeted the guests and thanked those who had made their works of art available for the exhibition. After his singing contribution "Climb every mountain," all participants toasted to "Art for Peace”—”To peace, love, unity and harmony, faithful loving families, a human family with God as the Holy Father and Mother! God bless our art and the artists here today, always and everywhere!
Afterwards, the works of art were presented and people could join in by painting a star on the pre-traced "Belt Stars / Orion Nebula" themed canvas with acrylics.
Everyone sat together for a long time and enjoyed coffee and cake while Mrs. Israela played on the piano with her children as a beautiful day came to an end.
Many thanks to all participants, volunteers, sponsors and guests!
